Damage Deposit Policy

At Villas Aqua – Hotel & Residence (https://villasaqua.com/), we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our guests. In order to ensure that the property is maintained in its best condition and to cover any potential damages or extra costs incurred during your stay, we require a damage deposit.

Damage Deposit Requirements

  • A damage deposit of $300 USD (or the equivalent in other currencies) is required upon check-in for each stay.
  • This deposit is refundable upon check-out, provided there is no damage to the property or missing items.

Use of Damage Deposit

The damage deposit will be used to cover any costs related to:

  • Damages to property:
    This includes any damage to the room, furniture, fixtures, appliances, and other hotel property caused during your stay.
  • Missing items:
    If any items in the room, including linens, towels, and other hotel property, are found to be missing or damaged, the cost of replacement will be deducted from the damage deposit.
  • Excessive cleaning fees:
    If extra cleaning is required due to improper conduct or a significant mess left in the room, this may result in additional charges to the damage deposit.

Damage or Missing Items Reporting

  • Any damages or missing items must be reported to the administration within 12 hours of check-in. This ensures that we can document and address any issues as soon as possible.
  • If damages or missing items are discovered after this time frame, the claim may not be valid, and the guest will be responsible for the full replacement or repair cost.

Refund of Damage Deposit

  • The damage deposit will be refunded within 7-10 business days after check-out, provided there are no damages, missing items, or additional charges.
  • If any charges are incurred, the appropriate amount will be deducted from the damage deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • Please note that the damage deposit is not used for incidental charges, such as food and beverage consumption, room service, or other services provided during your stay. These charges will be billed separately.

Liability for Damage

Guests are responsible for any damages caused by themselves, their guests, or their pets during the course of their stay. Villas Aqua reserves the right to charge for any damages incurred during the guest’s stay that exceed the deposit amount.

Disputes

  • In the event of a dispute regarding damages or missing items, Villas Aqua reserves the right to make the final determination.
  • Any disputes regarding the charges to the damage deposit must be made in writing and submitted to our administration team at contact@villasaqua.com within 7 days after the check-out date.
